Rome, Florence and Venice - 2009

Day 1

Arrive at Venice airport and private transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure or optional gondola ride.

Day 2

In the morning, a small group walking tour will introduce you to the most important monuments of Venice Afternoon at leisure or optional escorted tour to visit Venice Islands (Murano and its glass-blowing factories, Burano and Torcello).

Day 3

In the morning, transfer to Florence by express train. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Uffizi Gallery.

Day 4

In the morning, walking tour with a private guide to visit Renaissance in Florence and to get acquainted with downtown Florence. Early afternoon visit the David of Michelangelo at the Accademia Gallery,. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5

Day at leisure or many options to explore Tuscany in small group or with a private tour, San Gimignano, Siena, the gems of Southern Tuscany (Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino), Chianti region and its wineries, walking tour in the countryside around Florence and much more.

Day 6

In the morning, make the short trip to Rome by express train then, private transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, or in the evening, get acquainted with downtown Rome, its popular Piazzas (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain Pantheon, perhaps Trastevere) and the Colosseum with a private chauffeur/guide service.

Day 7

Today, half day small escorted tour to visit Vatican Museums. Rest of the day at leisure. .

At leisure or optional escorted tour

Day 9

Breakfast and private transfer to airport.
