Rome, Florence and Venice - 2010/2011

Day 1

Arrive at the airport and private transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon, optional gondola ride.

Day 2

In morning, walking tour with a private guide to visit the highlights of Venice: San Mark square and Basilica, Bridge of Sighs and the Doges Palace. Afternoon, optional half-day tour to visit the Venetian Islands: Torcello, Burano and glass-blown factories in Murano.

Day 3

In the morning, transfer to Florence by train, then private transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, small group tour to visit to the Accademia Gallery (David by Michelangelo).

Day 4

In the morning, small group walking tour to visit the most important monuments of Florence: Baptistery, Bell Tower, Gates of Paradise, Brunelleschi's Dome, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Medieval towers, Ponte Vecchio, Renaissance Palaces, famous shopping streets and more. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 5

At leisure or optional small group tour to experience the charm of the Tuscan countryside, perhaps to visit some wine estate.

Day 6

In the morning, transfer by train to Rome. Afternoon, at leisure.

Day 7

In the morning, walking tour with a private guide to visit Imperial Rome: Coliseum, Arch of Constantine, Arch of Titus, Roman Forum, an the Palatine. Afternoon at leisure or optional escorted tour to visit a Christian Catacomb.

Day 8

Morning, visit walking tour with a private guide to visit the Vatican: Michelangelo’s Dome, Belvedere Courtyard (Cortile della Pigna), Chiaramonti Collection, Pio-Clementino Collection, Stanza Rotonda, Stanza della Croce Greca, Bramante’s Triple Gallery, Raphael Rooms, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9

Private transfer to airport and departure.
