A road immersed in the colors and fragrances of Mediterranean vegetation leads to the scenic point of Punta Tragara, where one of the most exclusive hotels in the world is situated. The Hotel looks out over a truly breathtaking view. It is distinguished by the bold elegance of its exterior that is in perfect harmony with its surroundings, conceived by the great architect Le Corbusier.

Originally designed as a modern villa by the famous French architect Le Corbusier it was, in 1973, transformed into one of Capri's most intimate hotels. A variety of travelers, form overworked executives to young honeymooners, have been attracted to the hotel's romantic, spa-like atmosphere.

This hotel is the first in Capri to offer marine-spa based thalasso-therapy. The sea water extracted at some depth is directly sent to a special pool and heated.

The hotel exudes all the refined elegance of a truly upper-class setting with its antique furniture, precious tapestries, its silent corridors and its swimming pool that peer over the sea. There are many opportunities for restoring relaxation in a lush Mediterranean garden setting, as well as two sea water swimming pools, one of which is heated for hydro massages, the characteristic open-air "Bussola" restaurant and a typical restaurant on the veranda where you can dine by candlelight.
