The hotel is located just a few steps far from the Cathedral and from all the museums and main monuments. Behind it You can find the " Cappelle Medicee" and the "San Lorenzo Market "with the "San Lorenzo Basilica".

The building, dated back to the 13th century, used to be a Monastery and still keeps some untouched testimonies of the historical period: the perfect vaults and the rock Romanic style pillar that characterize the room where buffet breakfast is served, or the coffered ceiling with wood beams in most of the rooms. At the ground floor there is the “Big Ceramic Pot” that almost reaches the ceiling, produced at the end of the 19th century, by “Manifattura Salvini” from Florence at 1898.

All the rooms, refurbished between 1999 and 2001, are decorated in traditional Florentine style and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, safety box, bathroom with hairdryer.
