It
was a Renaissance Palace, then at the beginning of 20th century was transformed into a hotel.
Still owned by the same family, it has been recently renovated to offer
the modern facilities nowadays required, while maintaining its original
character.
It is a small charming hotel with lovely rooms, a high quality restaurant
and a beautiful garden overlooking the Tuscan hills.
All the rooms have private bathroom and air conditioning during the summer
season. The suites (all facing the garden) have a sitting area and a
bathroom with Jacuzzi for two persons.
The best rooms are certainly the suites, all of which are overlooking the
garden and have a sitting area with comfortable sofas and large bathrooms
with Jacuzzi (some for two persons).
All the rooms have most of the facilities of a 4 star hotel and the
bathrooms have been updated to the latest standards (heated towel racks,
hair driers and terry cloth towels).
Guests
usually benefit of the half board which includes a rich buffet breakfast
(with fresh fruit, eggs and bacon, and a selection of regional hams and
cheeses) and dinner in the evening: the meals are served in elegant dining
rooms with separate areas for non smokers, and the in garden.
Light lunches are also provided with hors d’oeuvres, salads, fresh fish
and meat from the grill or the barbecue in the garden during the summer.
