Day 1  PALERMO

Check in to selected hotel in Palermo. Before dinner enjoy a welcome cocktail and meet with tour guide for tour presentation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2   Palermo - Monreale

Breakfast in hotel followed by guided visit to the city of Palermo; in particular the historic downtown, following by a visit of Monreale, the Duomo and cloister. Lunch at hotel, followed by an excursion to Mondello, Mount Pellegrino and Favorita. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3  SEGESTA - ERICE -TRAPANI - MARSALA

Breakfast at hotel followed by departure for Segesta and visit the 5th century B.C Doric Temples, proceed to Erice, the fascinating medieval city set 750m high where you can enjoy spectacular views of Trapani and San Vito Lo Capo. Bus tour of Trapani with stops at the famous salines and lunch at the Salt Museum restaurant. After lunch we will proceed to Marsala and visit the typical wine cellars where the famous "Marsala" wine is made, where you will be able to taste local produce. Departure for Agrigento and arrival at hotel. Dinner at hotel followed by walk by the Valley of Temples which is illuminated by night. Overnight stay.

Day 4  AGRIGENTO - PIAZZA ARMERINA

Breakfast at hotel followed by tour of Agrigento and Valley of Temples. Lunch in either hotel or restaurant followed by afternoon departure to Piazza Armerina and tour of the Villa Del Casale which is famous for its mosaics. Proceed to Catania, Giardini Naxos, Letojanni and around. Arrival in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5  Syracuse - Catania

Breakfast in hotel followed by full day excursion to Syracuse; the most beautiful ancient Greek colony in Sicily displaying ancient Greek - Roman ruins and monuments. The excursion includes tour of the Greek theatre, Roman amphitheatre, the Latomia where lies the "Orecchio di Dionisio" meaning "ear of Dionysius", as well as the Temple of Minerva and the Arethusa temple.

Day 6  ETNA - TAORMINA

Breakfast at hotel followed by excursion to Mount Etna by coach up to 5900 Ft. Cable car or jeep with licensed guide can be taken up to the main craters - with supplement payable locally. Lunch at restaurant followed by afternoon visits to Taormina and the Greek Theater. You will then be able to spend some time shopping or at your own leisure. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7  San Stefano di Camastra - Cefalù - Palermo

Breakfast at hotel followed by departure for Santo Stefano di Camastra, where we will stop at a ceramic craft shop. Proceed to Cefalu, visit the Duomo, and then lunch in restaurant. Departure for Palermo, arrival in hotel followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8  Palermo or outskirts

Breakfast in hotel and farewell.
