Day 1  VULCANO/LIPARI Island

Check-in to selected hotel. Meet with our tour representative who will give a presentation of the tour and enjoy a complimentary cocktail.

Day 2  VULCANO & STROMBOLI Islands

Breakfast in hotel followed by tour of the island of Vulcano in motorboat, including “Valle dei Mostri” (Valley of Monsters", and “Grotta del Cavallo” (The Horse Grotto) and the Gelso bay, where you will be able to take swims. Lunch will be taken at the hotel followed by departure for Stromboli. Visit of the village and time spent at your own leisure for dinner (non included) and shopping. At sunset we will depart for the “sciara del fuoco” meaning “volcanic trail” where the volcanic eruptions can be admired by night. Return to the hotel in late evening.  

Day 3  ALICUDI & FILICUDI Islands

Breakfast at hotel followed b departure for Alicudi – the wildest of the Aeolian group which was once called “Ericusa" meaning island of heather plants. Visit the village and enjoy time spent at your own leisure for either swimming or lunch. In the afternoon we will take a boat trip around the island by boat and head for Filicudi, known as the island of tree ferns, passing the “faraglioni” di Canna, Montenassari, and the “Bue Marino” grotto. Once in Filicudi, you will be able to take an optional visit of the prehistoric village Capo Graziano that dates back to the 7th century B.C.

Day 4  SALINA Island

Breakfast at the hotel followed by departure by motorboat for a tour around Lipari where we will stop at the pumice stone caves for swimming and then onto Salina, passing the area of Acquacalda. We will stop at Santa Marina di Salina and take a bus tour around the island where you will be able to taste the local Malvasia wine. At Pollara we will stop to enjoy the panoramic view (set of the film “Il Postino”) and also at Rinella and embark for a round the island trip. At Santa Marina di Salina you can enjoy time spent at your own leisure for lunch and shopping. Return to the hotel in the afternoon traveling along the western coast of Lipari where you can admire the famous Faraglioni.

Day 5  VULCANO Island

Enjoy the day spent at your own leisure, either shopping, swimming or simply relaxing.

Day 6  PANAREA Island

Breakfast at hotel followed by departure by motorboat for Panarea, the smallest and oldest of the Aeolian Islands. Once in Panarea, you can enjoy a swim at the famous Calajunco bay and Cala Zimmari. Afterwards we will stop at the port and downtown of the island where you can take an optional visit of Capo Milazzese, the prehistoric village dating back to the 7th century B.C. Enjoy lunch at your own leisure and return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 7  LIPARI Island

Breakfast at the hotel followed by departure for the nearby island of Lipari where we will visit the archaeological site and famous cathedral. Enjoy lunch at your own leisure. After lunch we will take a bus tour around the island with panoramic stops along the way. Return to the hotel in late afternoon.

Day 8  VULCANO/LIPARI Island

Breakfast at hotel and farewell.
