NORTHERN ITALY ESCORTED TOUR

Day 1 ROME - ASSISI - SIENA - FLORENCE

Early morning departure by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Stop in this splendid and mystic town for a panoramic visit of its Basilica and the church of St. Maria degli Angeli. Departure from Assisi on the “Autostrada del Solo” to Siena. This  gothic city  is  constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This monumental  and  medieval  city is  encircled by its ancient walls and is famous for its splendid square "  Piazza del Campo ", designed in the shape of a shell . Here, every year the famous "Palio" takes place. See also the elegant Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to Florence. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2 FLORENCE

Breakfast and morning city tour in which you will appreciate the artistic beauty of Florence with its Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto and the Baptistery. The  sightseeing tour continues to Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and  finally the Loggia della Signoria. Afternoon at leisure or optional escorted tours for more visiting in Florence. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3 FLORENCE –  PADUA - VENICE

Breakfast and departure for Venice via Padua, where you will visit the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello’s  Gattamelata. Continue  on  to  Venice   and  upon arrival enjoy a guided walking tour of this  unique city. You will see the Piazza and   Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Then visit a glass factory to see the moulding of glass. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day at leisure or optional escorted tours for more visiting in Venice. In the afternoon, return to Rome by motorcoach or Italian Rail. End of the tour.
